Joy was born in Illinois, bred by Jennifer Bush, home to Yankee who is Joy’s sire. She was sold to a military couple who didn't have much time for horses, especially after the 9/11 attacks. We were able to purchase Joy a few years ago and brought her registration up to date so that she is now triple registered with full breeding rights in all 3 of the Mountain horse registries. We trail rode her some and discovered that she was extremely smooth. She is a people-oriented horse and is considered the farm pest as she will not leave you alone if you are in the pasture with her.
Joy has been rebred to Gem for a May 2012 foal.
