We have received many inquires about our upcoming foal crop in 2010. We do have purchase contracts for anyone wishing to reserve a foal. Our purchase contract guarantees your money back if the foal should die or become sick or injured in such a way that the foal becomes undesirable to the owner. We can also write up a purchase contract for a specific gender and/or color. We require a 20% deposit of the foal price with the signing of the purchase contract. The remaining 80% balance is due at the time the foal is weaned and ready for his/her new home. Reserved foal prices out of our mares are $2,250 for chocolates; $1,500 for blacks; roans, buckskins, gullos are $2,500. Discounts given for multiple purchases. Mares listed have been confirmed in foal with a heartbeat. To ensure that the foal is viable, an ultrasound is performed on each mare at 14 days (check for twinning), 26 days (heartbeat confirmation), 60 days, and 120 days. Each mare is also wormed regularly and vacinated 4 to 6 weeks prior to foaling.
Each foal is handled regularly, tought to lead, load, bathe, and their hooves are trimmed avery 4 weeks. They also are vacinated at 3 and 4 months, and wormed monthly starting at 6 weeks of age.
